Tripp Lite SU1000XLA Review: Tripp Lite SU1000XLA Smart Online 1000VA UPS with Extended Runtime (6 Outlets). This works perfectly.... but only has one flaw. The fan is so loud that it sounds like it is taking of for flight. The next size up by the same company sports two fans, yet is quieter. I opened mine up and modded it to include a Panaflo medium speed fan that is much quiter and barely audible now.
